Meet Our Instructors
Meet Kari. She has been a Group Fitness Instructor for over 15 years. Certified in Group Fitness, Pilates, Yoga and Personal Training. She considers herself as a health and wellness enthusiast mainly because of her passion for helping others. She says, as long as she could remember fitness has always been the one thing in her life that always made sense. It really inspires her to see her clients achieve and exceed their own fitness expectations.
She lives her life believing that every day is an opportunity to make yourself a better person and to make the most of each day by taking care of oneself, mind and body.
In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball, running and walks around Como Lake. Also likes dancing, relaxing while watching a movies and spending time with her husband.
Philosophy: "Every day is an opportunity to make yourself a better person!"
Meet Megan. She is not only a Certified Personal Trainer, but has spent the past four years working as a swim instructor at Foss, an elite swim school.
Megan has had a lifelong history with health and fitness. Growing up she has participated and was very active in softball, tennis, and bowling. However, once she went to college, she began to lose her passion for being fit and healthy. It wasn't until after she left college and started working on her self esteem and getting back in to shape, that her passion for fitness was reignited.
Megan was inspired to be a trainer by having a personal trainer herself. She started working out with a trainer because she wanted to be legitimately healthy, honestly strong, and to be comfortable in her own body. She is still deep in this pursuit after experiencing first hand how much personal training can change your life, body, and mind. Now, she wants to be able to assist others with those same feelings to achieve their fitness goals, and to fall in love with taking care of their bodies. In her spare time, Megan is secretly a homebody. She loves to relax at home with the two loves of her life; her cat and her husband. She also likes going out to movies and playing trivia games with friends and family.
Philosophy: It's never too early, or too late, to work towards being the healthiest you.
Meet Jasmine. She attended University of South Dakota State and has recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Superior with a BS in Exercise Science and Health and Coaching. Jasmine is well known for playing collegiate volleyball at the highest level. She also has coached at elite volleyball clubs for the past 7 years.
Her passion for health and fitness came from experiencing what it felt like to sustain injuries as well as other life hurdles. By Jasmine being a top competitive athlete, she understands the benefits of both physically and mentally that come from being healthy. Jasmine also worked as a personal care assistant. She learned the importance of how a person’s health plays such an important role in the outcome of their life.
Jasmine, in her spare time, enjoys being outdoors, rollerblading, kayaking, hiking and likes playing with a frisbee when she gets a chance to.
Philosophy: "You don’t need to be perfect, just be better than you were yesterday.”
